Children’s Think Tank / Meeting 1

Meeting 1 Documentation

Our first experimental session of the Children’s Think Tank has begun. It is a research group with children that helps articulate what they are interested in, while exploring future research methods that attend to their concerns and abilities (view gallery on left for photographs from the first meeting). For those of you have not read the overview generally, please do so here.

There are eleven researchers this session, including nine children and two adults. About half the group can do basic reading and writing. Half the group cannot yet read or write beyond their name and some site vocabulary. Here is a break down of the participants, as defined by themselves:

View the presentation of our introductory agenda, as well, view the images in the gallery at the top of the page to see our basic introductory meeting photographs. We are looking forward to the next meetings to discover more in depth the alternative methods and objectives the children have for their research. We will be sharing the results of our meetings through video, pdfs and drawings in the next few months.
